Overview

What Caused This is a group UX/UI project focused on improving first-time user onboarding for a complex system. The experience was designed to help users quickly understand how the system works by guiding them through it step by step, rather than relying on external documentation or trial and error.

The project explores how a tutorial-driven homepage can reduce confusion, lower cognitive load, and create a clearer starting point for new users encountering the system for the first time.

The goal of this project was to reduce confusion for first-time users by creating a structured, tutorial-style onboarding experience within the homepage. Rather than leaving users to explore on their own or rely on external documentation, the design guides them step-by-step through the system so they can understand core functionality quickly.
